There is a put-in located at Cateechee Point Park just upriver from the property, and kayakers can choose between a two-mile float to a take-out on Lay Bridge Road or a 5-mile trip all the way down to Lake Hartwell to the take out at Equoni Point Park on Madden Bridge Road. The river and Lake Hartwell have fishing for panfish, crappie and several bass species.

Note: There is FEMA Flood Zone area along the Twelvemile River. There is a landfill on the adjacent property containing sediment from the removal of two old dams on the Twelvemile River in 2011. 66 acres of additional adjacent acreage is also available, which includes an additional ¼ mile of frontage on the river.
